The HU is the espresso burr of SSP's 64mm range. It grinds very evenly and leaves enough fines for real body, so shots come out full and syrupy, and it is the most forgiving SSP set to dial in. Red Speed is a titanium aluminium carbon nitride (TiAlCN) hard coating, which protects the teeth and keeps heat out of the grounds.

Compatibility

Fits grinders built around the standard 64mm Mazzer burr pattern. Fellow Ode Gen 1 owners should check the 20 digit serial under the grinder first: digits 12 to 14 must read 210 or higher. Mazzer owners should centre the burrs before tightening the screws, and be ready to shim if they do not seat flat.
