It all began with a love of coffee and the outdoors. In the 1990s, the first drive through cafe in Marin County California opened in our town. There were a few chairs outside the small drive thru building with views of the nearby mountain and hills. In the mornings, or after hiking and biking we spent time at the drive through cafe getting to know the owners. While enjoying the views and drinking espresso, they educated us on the secrets to excellent tasting espresso and the importance of clean equipment that is free from coffee residue and odours.
