Cast steel burrs with a cutting geometry that traces back to the old Ditting Lab Sweet design, re-cut and coated by SSP. They sit between the HU and the MP: sweeter and juicier than either, with a wide sweet spot and an easy dial-in. Good for espresso and pour over, best on light and medium roasts, and worth skipping if you grind oily beans. Silver Knight is a PVD titanium carbide coating, often called semi-DLC, and it trims the fines a little so the cup stays clean and bright.

Compatibility

Fits grinders built around the standard 64mm Mazzer burr pattern. Fellow Ode Gen 1 owners should check the 20 digit serial under the grinder first: digits 12 to 14 must read 210 or higher. Mazzer owners should centre the burrs before tightening the screws, and be ready to shim if they do not seat flat.
