Roast range
Grind size moves the main peak left or right. Uniformity describes how narrow that peak is. Different burrs can need different grind settings.

Uniformity describes how similar the main particle sizes are.
Unimodal literally means one peak. In coffee discussions, it is also used for low-fines burrs, rather than a guarantee of no fines.
HU stands for High Uniformity. It is also a specific burr name, not a guarantee that it has the narrowest spread of every option.

SSP's 65mm flat burrs for the Mahlkoenig 65mm platform, dropping in on the factory screw holes. Choose the burr and coating above.
Choose the cut first. SSP suggests Red Speed (TiAlCN) for espresso and Silver Knight for filter. Owners who have compared both mostly say the cut makes the bigger difference. Both are rated for roughly 4,000 to 5,000kg of coffee.
Not for Eureka grinders sold as 65mm (Mignon Turbo, Atom 65, Zenith 65), the Mahlkoenig E64 WS or X64, or any 80mm grinder. Have an E65W GbS, K30 2.0, Anfim Pratica or Ditting KE? They use the same factory burr as the E65S, so ask us and we will confirm before you order.
