Are you looking to buy SSP 98mm Burrs to fit Mahlkoenig EK43, EK43 S, Lagom P100 in Australia?
SSP HU (High Uniformity). Espresso and filter. Body and clarity. A versatile espresso burr that balances texture against flavour separation. It makes more fines, which helps pressure build and gives shots real body, so it suits traditional 9 bar, lever and profiling work. A good match for most cafes. Built for espresso, and it opens up for filter once you have run 200kg or more through it.
SSP LU (Low Uniformity). Espresso and filter. Cleaner and lighter in body than the HU with fewer fines, and a strong pick if you do both.
SSP ULU (Ultra Low Uniformity). The lowest fines cut, for roasters and labs that cup a lot of coffee. Filter and batch brew. Espresso works only as a long ratio, fast shot, and it takes the longest seasoning of the range.
SSP Cast Lab Sweet Silver Knight. Espresso and filter. The sweet, easy going cast option, closest in spirit to the older EK coffee burrs.
OEM Premium Cast Steel. Mahlkoenig's own all round cast set, 620g, rated to about 6,000kg.
