FLAT 2 is a next-generation coffee filter designed for flat-bed drippers, delivering true zero-bypass extraction. Crafted with SIBARIST's FAST or B3 Speciality Coffee Filter Technology, it fully adheres to dripper walls to ensure even, controlled drawdowns and consistent cups.

FAST enables faster, bright, and clean extractions, while B3 enhances sweetness, body, and balance, giving brewers flexibility to choose the profile they prefer.

The FLAT Features

No bypass 

The air flow between the filter and the brewer is eliminated by the flat paper’s adhesion to the dripper walls when wet, thereby removing the “bypass” that can cause astringency in the cup.

Uniform extractions

The absence of fluting shapes alleviates the potential for grounds to become isolated and
potentially under-extracted in the flutes, providing more even results and increasing the coffee yield and uniform extractions.

Uniform turbulence

A smooth, obstacle-free infusion volume provides freedom, more even turbulence and uniform circulation of particles in the slurry when pouring, resulting in regular extractions.

Repeatability

Created to offer the greatest consistency and coffee particle extraction uniformity, the filter always provides the same geometry, with no coffee trapped or isolated in any fluted areas, providing continuous even-pour turbulences.
