I love our Tipsy cups but–like most ceramic cups–they do take a lot of space up when you're not using them. If you have a need to store a lot of cups, especially if it's on top of your espresso machine, you might be interested in our new cups: a stackable, durable porcelain model we call Stacky.
I wanted to design these cups for two reasons;
- At cafes I've often witnessed a dangerous pile of latte mugs on top of the espresso machine. They're not all warm, they're precariously heaped, and there aren't that many on there anyway.
- Our upcoming Bengle model espresso machine has a thermostat controlled cup warmer on top. However, it's also a compact sized machine. I wanted to see how many cups we could store safely, tidily and attractively, on this espresso machine. Turns out, about 20 to 25 Stacky cups.
