1. A new design of the outer shell
The outer shell of the Half Decent Scale has been redesigned to address several teething issues that were reported by users of both, the beta and v1.0.
Not only does Half Decent Scale now come in abright metal polish(bye bye, you sad black),
it's nowless susceptible to water damage,
hasbetter wireless connectivity,
and as an added bonus, there'sless weighing interference while HDS is plugged in.1

2. Redesigned charging connector
Previous USB charging connector was causing measuring irregularities when plugged in. It was also a potential culprit for water damage.
Newmagnetic connector adaptercan now be attached to HDS for charging.
Arubber gaskethas been added, to protect the USB port when not in use.
Newredesigned charging cablethat comes with a magnetic connector.
Some issues with the circuit board were addressed and resolved in v1.1 as well. Among other things, HDS sometimes didn't properly sense battery capacity, and it didn't properly announce itself over USB.
Half Decent Scalenow presents itself as “Half Decent Scale”when connected over USB.
It hasimproved battery capacity sensing.
Furthermore,weight stability and measurement accuracy were improved.
Last but not least, atemperature sensor for measuring ambient temperaturewas added.

A new laser etching on the scale now helps quickly identify your HDS version.
