Each of these pieces will be skillfully turned from cherry wood by the craftspeople of Shirasagi before being finished in natural urushi in the tradition of Yamanaka Shikki (lacquerware).
Whilst Yamanaka Shikki is mostly revered for its history, craftsmanship and beauty - its environmental sustainability, durability, natural antibacterial properties and incredible thermal insulating capabilities warrant it truly unique.
These medium tumblers will hold approx. 300mL and are approx. 8.5cm in height with a 7cm top opening diameter.
