The Handle is machined from aerospace grade aluminium and beautifully anodised to reduce corrosion and wear.
This means neither the coloured anodising or laser markings will ever rub or scratch off.
The unique handle design allows the user to apply pressure with an open hand, keeping the rest of their body in an upright and neutral posture, which has been shown to significantly reduce the risk of injury to baristas.
The base is machined from the hardest stainless steel known to man, to an incredibly accurate 58.50mm diameter.
This fits all precision baskets (VST, IMS, Strada etc) and all portafilters/baskets described as '58mm'.
Vacuum hardened to make it even harder, and coated with our unique ultra-hard non-stick coating.
Laser marked with 1mm increments for fast and easy setup.
To setup your new PUSH tamper
- Unwind handle to max setting (15mm)
- Weigh and tamp your dose of coffee
- Check tamper is level, then wind handle until it stops on the portafilter basket.
- Lock handle with set screw
- Pull a delicious shot
Cleaning Instructions
Wipe clean with a soft non-abrasive cloth.
To clean more thoroughly:
- Make a note of the setting, then carefully remove the locking screw, and store it safely during cleaning.
- Turn the handle counter-clockwise to separate it from base.
- Wash the handle and base in warm soapy water with a soft non-abrasive cloth.
- Rinse with clean water and leave to dry thoroughly before re-assembly.
Do not use aggressive cleaning products.
Do not put in dishwasher.
Do not use abrasive sponges scourers etc.
