Coffee Water Filtration Recommendations
We recommend all options be installed by a qualified plumber and extra fittings may be required for your particular setup that are not listed below.
Please reach out about your particular situation if you need more assistance.
98% of your coffee is water, so it would make sense that the water in your drink is the correct hardness and mineral content.
The best option (and most expensive) is Reverse Osmosis & then remineralising the water to the correct level for coffee after. This is what we use at Central Coast Coffee.
In general the more filters and the bigger they are, the better and the longer they will last. It is much better to have multiple filters where each filter type does 1 application of filtering, rather than one filter doing everything, as they will clog quicker and be less effective.
If you want to add a drinking tap to fill up glasses of water we would recommend getting a tank as well so there is storage on hand of the filtered water, otherwise filling a glass will be slow.
Option 1 Reverse Osmosis (Most Expensive)
Option 2 Reverse Osmosis
Option 3 Reverse Osmosis

If RO Is to expensive the next option would be a filtration option
In standardised, low Hardness and Chloride areas i.e, Sydney and the Central coast, the two options below would offer good protection to a range of machines.
Option 1 - Water Filtration
Option 2 - Water Filtration
If those options are still too expensive then the last option would be a cheaper water filtration system such as option 3.
Option 3 - Water filtration
