Each unit features a unique anniversary design and an individually numbered finish, with only 1,500 of this commemorative edition produced worldwide.

Building on the original NCD created by 2015 World Barista Champion Saša Šestić and commercially released in 2016 to solve uneven coffee distribution in the portafilter the NCD Pulse combines the proven four-blade rotating distribution design with new Pulse Vibration Technology. Controlled micro-vibrations help settle grounds and reduce internal air pockets from top to bottom, not just side to side, creating more even puck density before tamping in around two seconds or three rotations. Adjustable vibration settings and working depth suit different doses, baskets, and high-volume café workflows.

Designed for professional and home baristas alike, the NCD10 Pulse offers the same efficient, repeatable approach to espresso preparation while celebrating the evolution of one of specialty coffee's most recognised distribution tools.

Proven on the Competition Stage

Kay Cheon - 1st Place, 2025 US Barista Championship

Keisuke Honma - 1st Place, 2026 Japanese Barista Championship

Junghwan Lim - 5th Place, 2024 World Barista Championship (using a prototype)

Danny Wilson - 2nd Place, 2025 World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship

Vladyslav Demonenko - 5th Place, 2025 World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship

Features

Limited 10th Anniversary Edition: Special NCD10 design created to celebrate 10 years of the Nucleus Coffee Distributor.

Individually Numbered: Each NCD10 Pulse is individually numbered from a limited production run of 1,500 units.

Pulse Vibration Technology: Uses subtle vibration to distribute coffee throughout the puck, helping reduce uneven density and air pockets before tamping.

Dual Distribution: Combines horizontal/top-layer distribution with vibration technology for more complete coffee bed preparation.

Adjustable Height: Fine height adjustment allows the distributor to be set to suit different coffee doses and densities.

Low & High Vibration Settings: Select between two vibration intensities to suit different coffees, roast styles and personal preferences.

Activation Dock: Simply lift the NCD Pulse from the dock to activate vibration and return it to stop, making it ideal for efficient café workflow.

Rechargeable & Wireless: Built-in rechargeable battery allows cordless operation at the coffee bar.

Specifications

Diameter: 58.5mm

Suitable for IMS/VST-style 58mm baskets

Built-in lithium-ion battery

USB-C charging

Activation/charging dock included

Two vibration settings: Low & High

Limited production: 1,500 individually numbered units
